Roisin Murphy (ex.Moloko) - Overpowered
Maybe this is a sign of the times, but am looking backwards musically for a context in todays uncertain times and rediscovered in my collection, the UK electronica band Moloko, and the wonderful voice of Roisin Murphy. Moloko were contemporaries of Lamb, Portishead, Alpha, Massive Attack back in the mid-90's Trip-Hop scene in the UK.
Since those progressive times, Roisin Murphy has launched a solo career and here's an excerpt from her fantastic 2007 album. If you're into Alison Goldfrapp, Bitter:Sweet, Supreme Beings Of Leisure etc, you will likely love Roisin's voice!
